Wonderful Family from Indiana Selects Lot 24A
A wonderful family from Indiana came to check out the Salmon, ID area and Moose Creek Estates (MCE).
After the first day with our new guests, we felt like we had known them a lifetime. It was almost as if they were long lost family. The family loved the area – especially the local ski resort four miles from MCE.
Our new friends selected lot 24A. We are excited to have them as future neighbors.
Visitors Amazed at Idaho Local Area
A common theme that runs through all the people who visit the area is their amazement at the size of the area and the myriad of different adventures and activities.
Moose Creek Estates (MCE) is located in Lemhi County which was settled in the 1850’s. The population of the county is about 10,000 people and is 3 million acres in size. Of the 3 million acres, only about 285K acres are private land. The remainder of the land is public for all to enjoy. Activities range from 4 wheeling to hunting, fishing, whitewater rafting, skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, sightseeing, and many other outdoor activities. Almost any outdoor activity you can imagine is available to you. It is simply an outdoor paradise.
Moose Creek Estates is a 2.5 mile valley nestled in the Rocky Mountains at the confluence of the North Fork of the Salmon River, Moose Creek, and the West Fork of the North Fork Rivers. It provides close access to all of the wonderful recreation in the area including Lost Trail Powder Mountain Ski resort ( 5 lifts & 25 amazing ski runs) that is only four miles up the highway.
3 Families Visit us from TX
We had a wonderful time with three different families from Texas who came to explore Moose Creek Estates and the local area in July. Everyone, without exception, fell in love the area and the variety of different adventures available. They were impressed with the MCE valley as well.
Something about nature and land with an environmental focus tends to attract incredible people. These people will be our life-long friends. One family selected lot 20 as their favorite and are also considering buying lot 19 as well. We are excited about the potential that they will be our neighbors here at MCE.

We were joined by visitors from Arizona and Utah to explore the local area and review the environmental work done at MCE.

All enjoyed a great time 4 wheeling into lakes, visiting / digging crystals at Crystal Park, and exploring Coolidge, MT ghost town just over the hill from MCE in MT.

We welcome all – current property owners and those just interested in learning more about Moose Creek Estates and the Salmon, Idaho area to join us for a few days at Moose Creek.

The months of June and July were busy at MCE with many visitors and prospective neighbors checking out this beautiful Idaho land.
